Design tips
Branded, but still scannable.
When you add a logo, FairQR automatically switches to the highest damage tolerance, so the code still scans with the center covered. Use a square logo with some padding, and keep the code color dark against a light background.
Always test with two or three different phones before a big print run.

Why FairQR
Your printed QR code shouldn't stop working when a free trial ends.
Many QR sites quietly turn your "free" code into a trial. Weeks later the code on your menus, flyers and business cards starts showing a paywall, and the only fix is a subscription. Editable codes on those sites usually cost a monthly fee.
FairQR doesn't work that way. Static codes are generated in your browser and work forever. Editable codes are free too, with no account and no scan limits.
| Typical QR subscription site | FairQR | |
|---|---|---|
| Editable (dynamic) codes | Usually a monthly plan | Free |
| Account required | Usually | No |
| Code stops if you stop paying | Often | Never |
| Scan limits | Common on cheaper plans | None |
| Watermark on download | Sometimes | Never |
| Logo, colors, SVG | Often paid features | Free |
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Will adding a logo break my QR code?
Not if it’s sized right. FairQR keeps the logo to about a third of the code and uses the highest error correction, so most phones scan it easily. Test before printing.
What logo format works best?
A square PNG or SVG with a transparent background, under 1.5 MB.
Is there a watermark?
No. Downloads are clean at every size.
