For anything you print in quantity.

Menus that change by season. Flyers for an event whose page isn't final yet. Signs, packaging, vehicle wraps and business cards. With an editable code, a typo in your link or a new website doesn't mean reprinting.

Most dynamic QR services sell this as a monthly subscription, and some disable your codes if you cancel. FairQR editable codes are free and stay on.

Why FairQR

Your printed QR code shouldn't stop working when a free trial ends.

Many QR sites quietly turn your "free" code into a trial. Weeks later the code on your menus, flyers and business cards starts showing a paywall, and the only fix is a subscription. Editable codes on those sites usually cost a monthly fee.

FairQR doesn't work that way. Static codes are generated in your browser and work forever. Editable codes are free too, with no account and no scan limits.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this dynamic QR code generator really free?

Yes. Creating, editing and tracking editable codes is free. There’s no trial and no monthly plan.

Do editable codes have scan limits?

No. Scan as often as you like. We count total scans and show the last 30 days on your manage page.

What happens if I lose my manage link?

Since there’s no account, we can’t recover it. The code keeps working, but you won’t be able to change it. Save the link as a file or email it to yourself when you create the code.

Can I change the QR code’s design after printing?

The printed pattern can’t change, but you can download the same code again anytime from your manage page.

Are there rules on what I can link to?

Yes. Codes that point to phishing, malware, scams or illegal content are disabled. See our terms.
